A Word from the Lord - Revival In America

Revival In America

I see the Glory Cloud coming to small town America. Not the great big ministries but the smaller ones who are pleading for a touch from God. I see a grass roots revival from small churches everywhere - starting in the North West and spreading all over. Holy Spirit led revival \o/

I see the Glory Cloud descending in your meetings and not one person is still standing. As with the priests when Solomon dedicated the temple, they could not stand in the Presence of the Lord.

1 Kings 8:10-11 " When the priests withdrew from the Holy Place, the cloud filled the temple of the LORD. And the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the LORD filled his temple. "

Amos 8:11"The days are coming," declares the Sovereign LORD, “when I will send a famine through the land— not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the LORD.”

These days are here right now and the Lord is listening for the fervent prayers of a righteous man.

James 5:16 “The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.”

Then He will listen to your prayers, He will hear when you call upon Him; and He will heal your land.

2 Chronicles 7:13-15 "When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.”

Listen – Do you hear the sound of rain approaching?

Look - Do you see a cloud the size of a man’s hand? Look SEVEN times.

I see a very dry place where the wind suddenly starts to blow. Very little at first, but it builds and builds until it’s a storm force wind bringing the fresh rain of revival – not as a spring shower but as a mighty torrent. And with revival is coming the very presence of the Lord God Almighty and no man shall stand in that presence. You shall not cry out for healing – it will just happen. You shall not pray for the unsaved – they shall walk in off the street – convicted of their sin before they know what is happening. You shall not ask for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit – it will happen to anyone and everyone.

Joel 2:28-32The Day of the LORD"And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days. I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD. And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved; “

So – Are you ready. The Lord God Almighty is ready to start right now.

He is coming – He is coming – He is coming.

Get ready – Be ready. He will not wait for you but He will find those who are ready; who are prepared for His coming; who are desperate for a touch from His Holy Spirit.

  1. I actually wrote you before but this new mouse I have is so fast it clicked on "sign out," right in the middle of my comment. That's the earthly explanation, but since the topic was revival I see the explanation being much more spiritual.

To continue however, great post by the way. Here's what I was struck by.

First off you spoke of NW America, the most lush land we have, never ever lacking in rainfall. But you also spoke of spiritual drought and a “dry place.”

As you may remember I have been praying for revival for sometime, and for reasons only now clear I was praying for a joining of many Churches to act as one Church of the area directly proceeding and during the ensuing fire of revival.

Now I live in the Mojave Desert. Today it will get up to about 110 degrees or 43.3 C degrees with a sky full of sun. We do not get much rain, but when we do it comes with violence; wind with gust sometimes upwards of 30, 60, 90, and in some rare cases, a 100 miles per hour and is often accompanied by ground shaking thunder and wickedly bright and powerful lightening.

These torrents can bring flash floods that sweep cars and trucks away. I myself was caught in one such deluge in 2003, but by God's grace escaped with my car barely getting out of a flash flooded intersection at Rainbow and Gowan that minutes later entrapped a rescue fire engine.

Recently, my Pastor announced that we and other "small" churches were joining together to become a central network of churches that could be described in truth as one Church with many campuses!

He said this was placed on his heart to do so and so, it is already happening! This it would seem to be the outward fruits of my and I’m sure others’ secret prayer. This is the pre-requisite I believe for a tremendous out-pouring of fire from the Holy Ghost. So that souls can just walk in any one - and be part of the whole.

Friend, it would appear, that God intends this outpouring to stick. So order is being set up to handle the souls that will be coming.

For revival to happen here first, is significant, for this is Las Vegas it could not stay a hidden thing and would be a significant blow to the enemy’s pride of having a town named for his affliction on mankind in America. My Pastor envisions the name of our town being changed from “Sin City” to “Grace City.”

Unbeknownst to me, he has been like a man who has not seen a cool drink of water in years; he thirsts for this, I now see. But this is the power of prayer, which I and others will continue to do. Thank you for your post. It blesses me greatly.

Now realize if revival is to come from the NW first, sobeit! Just please O LORD Jesus let it come!

But again your own words lead me to a slightly different conclusion. (I see a very dry place where the wind suddenly starts to blow. You shall not ask for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit – it will happen to anyone and everyone.) Your words describe in this town and its weather patterns and potential almost perfectly.

  3. Dear Brother, this prophetic vision you have written of is the vision of so many in America. It proves to me that our God is Sovereign and His plan crosses all the oceans and the boundries set by man.
The vision that God gave our prayer group (called Boots on the Ground) was to see the walls come down between all the churches who teach Jesus Christ as the Son of God and through His sacrifice and by His Blood we are reconciled to God. To see the real Body of Christ work together in our community and the surrounding communites, to exalt and lift up the Name of Jesus. To see the Holy Spirit move, first in the life of the pastors and the leadership and naturally flow to the people. To see the Fire of the Holy Spirit spread from our community, through our nation to the nations of the world. This vision and the process that we must follow, getting real with God and getting in the trenches through intercessory prayer, is being lived out for over 3 years now. We have seen many things happen in our community which are amazing. We are not there yet, but more than what we see in the natural, we believe is happening in the unseen. In the meantime, we are seeing souls being saved. In our church, we are witnessing the salvation of souls, who are not only born again, but flourishing and baptized in the Holy Spirit. We have had many healings and restoration of marriages. More than I can record here.
In the surrounding communities, we have learned of other groups like ours, with a similiar vision. Some of our local congregations have adopted the vision of Boots on the Ground and a new ministerial alliance has been formed after being inactive for over 5-8 years. This ministerial alliance, at this time is populated by Catholic, Nazarene, Assembly of God, Baptist, non-denominational churches and includes lay ministers as well.
We are now seeing the Boots on the Ground theme being used in the different gospel arenas in America. All of this tells me that God's heart is at the center and is the impetus for the revival that is coming and this revival will not just sweep through for a few weeks but will last till the final trumpet sounds and we are called Home.
God bless you for sharing what the Lord places in your heart. You are a wonderful encourager and builder of the Kingdom of God in these last days. March on, my brother!

  4. It is pretty crazy (read normal for God :)) that I stumbled upon this. We are in Meridian, ID (The Pacific NW) and we are in the middle of revival. I am seeing God using us to begin fires in other areas as well. I prayed with a friend in Sacramento for God to renew her heart. After we were both consumed by the Holy Spirit, a week later she had someone walk up to her and say "God is moving in revival and you are going to be one of the leaders". Completely out of the blue! God is moving in revival. There is no question. The more I talk with on fire believers, the more I know it. Continue to pray for God to pour out His Holy Spirit. - AMEN!

  6. Cool word. Thanks.

It means more to me, knowing that you're a Brit: not personally invested in the Northwest.

    Bless ya, brother!

  7. For Sean, the majority of territory in the Northwest is desert. Only that portion west of the Cascades receives heavy rainfall.
